EIFER participated in the 5th U2Demo General Assembly, held in The Hague, Netherlands, on 16-17 September 2026. U2Demo is a European project that promotes energy democratization by enabling local communities to share renewable energy through open-source peer-to-peer platforms.

A key topic of discussion was the implementation of the forecasting algorithms developed by EIFER within the energy community platform being developed by Exaion in collaboration with EWF. The two-day event combined workshops, group discussions, and a visit to the Dutch pilot energy community, providing valuable opportunities to exchange experiences and discuss the next steps of the project.
